How to Protect Circuit Boards from Moisture Damage

Get your circuit boards dust-free.

Things you will need

Step 1

Safety

Remember to switch off all electrical equipment and let the hot surface cool down before the cleaning process. Safety is key!

Step 2

Spraying

Hold the circuit board or any other electrical appliances about 15 – 20centimetres away and spray a generous amount of WD-40 Specialist® Contact Cleaner onto the surface.

Step 3

Drying

Tip! To check if it is dry, use the tip of your finger to lightly dab the surface to see if any remnants will stick to your finger.

Step 4

Cleaning

Check if the parts are all clean and repeat if necessary before inserting them back into place, for dust-free circuit boards!
