How to Protect Car Rubber and Power Window Seal?
Needing some TLC (Tender, Loving, Care) for your car, may we suggest one of the most missed areas, car rubber seals? One that is so crucial in preventing leakages, keeping doors and trunk/boot shut tightly, and crack lines prevention. Prevent those seals from harden, extend those seals-life a little longer with WD-40 Specialist® Silicone.
WHAT YOU NEED

  1. WD-40 Specialist® Silicone
  2. Microfibre cloth

STEPS

  1. Remove the cap, give it a shake, latch on the straw to the tip of the can, for a more precise spray.
  2. Spray a good amount (from the top of the seal) and wait for 2-3 minutes to let the lubricant soak into the seal.
  3. Wipe away any residue on the surface with a microfibre cloth.
  4. Repeat on 4 doors and the trunk.
  5. Additionally, spray onto car window vinyl if needed, it will help to prevent crack on those small seals. Caution to wipe away residue to prevent oily residue on windows.

A non-staining, hard-working formula which provides excellent lubrication without attracting dirt and protects against moisture. Good amount of spray will help to return rubber and vinyl to its original suppleness from the constant expansion/contraction from heat, protecting against moisture and waterproofing them. Other than rubber and vinyl, it is also an excellent lubrication on metal and plastic.
