In case of any oil or nitro paints, soak the bristle up with the correct solvent (i.e synthetic or nitro). Leave the brushes to soak for a couple of days if it doesn’t come off immediately.
Tip! The flow of water removes any paint trapped between the bristles.
Once the solvent has dissolved most of the paint, place the brushes into a mix of soap and water.
Dip the paint brushes in and scrub slowly to remove any paint residue.
Rinse paint brushes under running water with the bristle facing upwards.
Scrape off any solidified paint if necessary.
Spray some WD-40® Smart Straw® on the bristles and ring nut.
Wipe clean with a towel or soft tissue to get rid of any paint and rust residue. Before you know it, they’ll be looking good as new!
