Clean power cords safely.

Things you will need

Step 1

Safety

Make sure the power cords are unplugged and switched off before you start the cleaning process. Safety, always!

Step 2

Cleaning

You would need to dust the power cords with a dry cloth or a duster to rid them of all the loose debris or dust buildup.

Step 3

Spraying

Spray a generous amount of WD-40® Smart Straw® onto the power cord to repel debris and moisture while protecting them from rust or corrosion.

Step 4

Scrubbing

Let the solution soak and sit for a few minutes. Use a toothbrush or cloth to scrub down the power cord slowly to get rid of any stains or gunk and you’re finished!
